English Courses

If you decide to study English in the UK, it is important to know that there are a many English language schools that offer a wide range of English courses.


Intensive General English

Intensive General English is a highly practical course which helps motivated individuals to develop their knowledge, skills and fluency in English. Experienced trainers use dynamic teaching methods and engaging materials to deliver measurable results.

English for Academic Purposes

This course is for non-native speakers of English who want to improve their English language skills for general or academic purposes in preparation for a Pre-sessional English for Academic Purposes course.

IELTS Preparation Course

IELTS English qualification is internationally recognised by all the universities in the UK. If you are planning to study at a college or university, you will be required to demonstrate your English language ability prior to acceptance. The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) qualification is the recognised standard used by academic institutions in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand and is also accepted in the USA and Canada. The test covers speaking, listening, reading and writing. There are two versions: Academic and General English, with the Academic version being required for entry to college and university courses. As a guide, entry to a university course requires an IELTS score of 6.5 - 7.0 and college courses require IELTS 5.5. See the IELTS website for more information. (https://www.ielts.org )

Pre-sessioanl Course

Pre-sessional Courses focus primarily on developing the core academic and study skills common to a range of disciplines and English language proficiency that are required for study at university level. The courses are specifically designed for students whose first language is not English who are planning to study degree programmes at university and who need to meet the language requirement of their academic conditional offer. The minimum IELTS score that is needed to join a Pre- sessional course is 4.5 and course duration range from 5 weeks to 20 weeks of study. The higher the score of your IELTS the less the duration of the course. Passing the Pre sessional course will give you unconditional admission to study your degree course.

Learning Business English is much more than simply learning some industry-specific vocabulary. Our lessons are about learning transferable skills, adapting to new working environments, working across language and cultural barriers.
